Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Lazzydogo handles, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web console and phone apps, and is read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Florianza Global Ventures, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, operates Lazzydogo. We decide how to use the data of the businesses that sign up with us and their account users (for example to sign you in and bill your subscription). For this data we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
Clinics, hospitals, groomers, boarding and pharmacy businesses (“Subscribers”) use Lazzydogo to keep records about their clients and pets. For that client and pet data, the Subscriber is the Data Fiduciary and we act as its Data Processor, handling the data only on its instructions. If you are a pet parent, please contact your clinic first about your records; we will help them respond.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, mobile number, optional email, business name, type, city, address, GST number, selected modules and role.
- Staff details added by a Subscriber: name, mobile, role, branch, qualifications and registration number shown on prescriptions.
- Client and pet records entered by Subscribers: pet parent name, phone, address; pet name, species, breed, age, weight, photos; visits, vitals, diagnoses, prescriptions, vaccinations, lab reports, surgery, inpatient, grooming and boarding records; invoices and payments.
- Payment information: payment status, amount and reference from Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we do not store them.
- Messages: WhatsApp and SMS sent through the Service, with delivery status.
- Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, app version, pages used, error logs, and data saved on your device for offline use.
3. How we use it
- to create and secure accounts and send one-time passwords (OTPs);
- to run the features you use — bookings, records, prescriptions, billing, reminders, reports and the phone app;
- to bill subscriptions, process payments and keep tax and accounting records;
- to provide support, fix problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service secure;
- to send service messages (for example about payments, renewals or changes);
- to improve the Service using anonymised, aggregated statistics that do not identify anyone;
- to give our platform team account-level summaries of each Subscriber — business details, staff, usage counts and which medicines its doctors prescribe (without pet or pet-parent names or contact details) — for support, quality and pricing;
- to comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.
4. AI features
When a user chooses an AI feature (for example suggested medicines, dose help, dictation or a visit or discharge summary), the text needed for that request — such as symptoms, diagnosis, species and weight — is sent to our AI model providers to produce a suggestion. We do not sell this data or use it to train our own models. Please avoid entering pet-parent names, phone numbers or other identifiers into AI prompts unless needed. AI output is a suggestion only and is never saved without a person choosing to add it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and business data for as long as the subscription is active. After an account closes, the Subscriber can request an export within 30 days; after that we delete or anonymise the data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it longer for tax, accounting, legal or dispute purposes. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. Subscribers decide how long to keep their own client and pet records, in line with the law that applies to them.
7. How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, OTP sign-in, role-based permissions and strict separation so that each business can only see its own data. Lab reports and other files are stored privately and opened through short-lived links. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected Subscribers and the authorities as the law requires. Data stored on your device for offline use is protected only by that device's own security.
8. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw consent you have given (this does not affect what was done before, and some features may stop working);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable;
- raise a grievance with us, and if not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Pet parents should send requests about clinic records to their clinic. Write to support@lazzydogo.com for anything else.
10. Children
Lazzydogo is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18 without verifiable parental consent.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page with its “Last updated” date. For important changes we will tell Subscribers in the app or by message.
12. Contact and grievance officer
Grievance Officer, Florianza Global Ventures, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India — support@lazzydogo.com. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and respond within the time the law requires.
